The following comments come from a man who knew Marlene 40 years ago. This week he learned of her passing through our website. Even though he's not a classmate(class of '69), his heartfelt thoughts are welcome.
"I learned of Marlene's passing about a year after the fact and I am truly sorry...a flood of memories accompanied the news..We dated during High School and I have many warm memories of her love of the 'Jersey Shore', carnival rides, a near obsession with the Beatles...especially Paul.
I only wish I could have known her as an adult...everything I've learned about her over the last several days points to a kind, caring, fun-loving woman who I would have been proud to know.
Fate has a way of teaching us lessons as the years go by...Rest In Peace, Marlene...you are truly an Angel"
